My payment was declined - what should I do?

Payment declines are usually easy to fix. Common causes include insufficient funds, incorrect card details, a bank security block on a new merchant, an expired card, or an unsupported payment method.

Additional causes include billing address mismatches, gaming-specific or sweepstakes sites card blocks, commercial card restrictions, weekly purchase limits, location-based restrictions in states where LuckyOne isn't available, VPN or network routing through restricted locations, and unverified account status.

What to try:

  1. Re-enter your card details carefully (number, expiration date, CVV).

  2. Try a different card or payment method.

  3. Contact your bank to check for blocks — banks sometimes flag new merchants.

  4. Clear your browser cache and cookies, then try again.

  5. Refresh the page to resolve temporary session issues.

  6. Ensure the billing address matches the one on file with your bank, including the ZIP code.

If it still won't go through after trying these, ask to speak to a human and we'll help you sort it out.

When contacting support, provide details about the error message and the payment method used to expedite the resolution process.
